Our Environmental Performance

At Virtuous Facility Group, we are embedding sustainability into every facet of our business and working with clients to maximise our environmental performance and protect the planet.


We are working hard with our colleagues and supply chain partners to reduce our impact on the environment, from removing single-use plastics and minimising the waste we generate to embracing technological change.

Our Journey to Net Zero

In 2023, Virtuous Facility Group completed its first comprehensive carbon footprint assessment, establishing a new baseline for future emissions reductions. Our near-term target is to reduce emissions by 42% by 2030 and to achieve net zero emissions by 2045. These targets have been validated by the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and are aligned with the goal of limiting global warming to 1.5 °C, demonstrating our commitment to disruptive innovations & sustainable solutions.


This carbon reduction plan, developed in accordance with PPN 06/21, details our Current carbon reduction projects and strategies to meet these targets.

Sunrise Cometh in the Morning, Our VFG Programme

At Virtuous Facility Group, we strive to be an exemplary corporate citizen and to lead by example. That’s why in 2023, we launched Sunrise Cometh in the Morning, our VFG program. Sunrise Cometh in the Morning operates under five workstreams:
